3 foods that will make your influenza to become worse

 When you have influenza, soda, juices, toasted bread, wine or milk are things that you should stay away unless you want your situation to become worse.

According to latest studies, even if you had already had a flu shot and wash your hand frequently, there is nothing to ensure that you will not get influenza in unusual weather condition.

1. Soft drinks, juices and other sweeten foods:

Soft Drinks such as ginger soda which help to soothe your nauseous feeling or orange juices contain a lot of vitamins, but they can’t hide a fact that they contain a lot of sugar. According to dietitian and spokeswoman for the Institute of Nutrition and the American diet, it could cause inflammation and weaken the white blood cells of the body to against infection.

It’s also the same with other sugar-contained foods such as cookies, candies and cereal for children, desserts… that you think you could eat when you’re sick. Instead, you should drink a hot cup of ginger tea which is very beneficial for your stomach, keep your body hydrated by drinking water, coconut water (without sugar). If you feel a bitter mouth then you can grab some healthy snack such as fruits or popcorn.

2. Milk and dairy products

Milk, yogurt or dairy products really do not make the body produce more mucus. But for some people, dairy items can make the mucus in the throat availability denser, causing more discomfort. In this case, you are one of those unlucky, you should cut down or cut out all the dairy product when you have influenza.

However, if you do not have any problems with milk and mucus, then it’s a rich source of protein and vitamin D which is very necessary to against infection. Besides, yogurt contains probiotic which is a bacteria balancing substance in your gut.

3. Wine

If you have ever thought that it would be OK to drink a glass of wine when you have influenza, then drop it. As the same as sugar, wine causes infections, weakens white blood cells, thus, your body will be more difficult to recover. Moreover, drinking one or two glasses of wine will make the body lose more water, which causes blood alcohol levels increase, you are prone to be drunk faster. Therefore, when you have influenza, you can temporarily say goodbye to wine.
