If you have metastatic cervical cancer, you may feel some different symptoms. The most frightening thing is metastatic cervical cancer does not have any certain symptom at the first stage. According to the US Cancer Society, there are more than 12.000 cases of metastatic cervical cancer in the US each year. Sadly, there are 4000 women die every year due to this disease just because they can’t find any symptom at first stages and be timely treated.
Women of all ages are at risk for cervical cancer once they start having sex. Human papillomavirus is the most common reason which causes malignant cancer cells beginning to develop in the tissues of the cervix. Metastatic cervical cancer is the 2nd common cancer in the world that women have. Although this disease can cause death in women but it also can be treated and completely cured if they have early detection and timely treatment.
A pap smear test is the best way to find out that whether you have a risk of cervical cancer or not. In addition, if you see any symptom below in your body then you need to carefully notice because it might be early symptoms of cervical cancer.
1. Pelvic pain
Many women suffer cramps during monthly menstrual cycle. However, if you have cramps or pelvic pain in normal days then you should be worry and have an appointment with a doctor. Because it might be a symptom of cervical cancer.
2. Abnormal bleeding
One of the most common warning signs of metastatic cervical cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding in the normal days – not in menstrual cycle. However, the degree of bleeding can vary with each woman, some bleed a little but others bleed a lot. The common point is the reason of bleeding is unknown. So you need to go to a hospital for checking timely.
3. Abnormal urination
Any change in the habit of urination, such as leakage of urine when sneezing or active sports, there is blood in the urine, pain during urination... can be a sign of metastatic cervical cancer. In this case, if it’s because of cervical cancer, then, cancer cells have been speeded into other organs.
